The Challenges

The mobile application needed to provide students with:

  • Possibility to create and manage community events from description and timing to location and QR code scanning

  • Admin panel for web administration of users and events

  • Access to Google Map and Student Directory

  • Detailed information about events, campus, university services

  • Possibility to track and pay for the events


The Solutions

The application consists of the mobile app for students and an administrative panel for data management. We implemented the following functionality:

  • The user profile where students can filter events by choosing specific category tags, monitor events, see purchase tickets

  • Calendar with campus events

  • Google map integration so that students can see their exact location in the campus

  • The resource page with a campus map and phone numbers of different university services

  • Integration with Student Directory

  • Development of a cross-platform mobile application for both iOS and Android (including a web management panel for content management and server-side API)

  • Integration of complex analytic and payment tools
